Click It or Ticket is a campaign to encourage proper safety belt and child safety seat use in the United States, coordinated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, www.nhtsa.dot.gov, with the assistance of the Academy for Educational Development, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit that helps organizations operate social marketing campaigns.
Nebraska DMV - Vince and Larry Crash Dummy Costumes

Crash car dummy costumes are available for borrowing from the Nebraska DMV. Vince and Larry are the dummy's names, and they make a great addition to seatbelt check events.
Nebraska State Patrol Rollover and Convincer Demonstrations
www.nsp.state.ne.us/FindFile.asp?ID=1800 There is nothing like a rollover demonstration to illustrate what can happen in a rollover crash when you are not wearing your safety belt. The Convincer is also available and is an aptly named device for convincing people of the need to buckle up. The Convincer allows an adult to sit in a seat with a seatbelt while he or she rolls down an incline and crashes into a barrier. The staged crash is a great way safely experience the purpose of the belt. The Nebraska State Patrol offers these demonstrations and they are ideal for outdoor events and health fairs.
