Honor Roll

Join the Honor Roll and be honored by the Governor!

That’s right! Governor Heineman will honor your organization or your whole community for achieving 80% or better safety belt usage at his monthly Proclamation Ceremony! How thrilling for your group to receive his congratulations and certificate and bring positive media attention to your organization. Also, you will be recognized in both Click It – Don’t Risk It! and National Safety Council, Greater Omaha Chapter publications for your hard work!

Even more exciting is the knowledge that you have been a part of saving the lives in your organization and community. Buckling up is an important behavior that saves lives! Our mission at Click It is to involve as many Nebraskans as possible in the Honor Roll process. Help us reach this goal!

How to Earn the Honor Roll

It’s easy to participate in the Honor Roll.

  1. First, conduct a safety belt check to determine your group or organization's usage percent. If you are over 80% you are half way there!
  2. Run your educational campaign and address your focus group.
  3. Conduct another survey check to see if you have over 80% usage again. You must have two checks, approximately 30 days apart, sustaining an 80% usage rate to qualify for Honor Roll membership. If you have over 90% usage on both checks you qualify for the Gold Standard awards.
  4. Last but not least, send your results and application to the Click It team to receive recognition from Governor Heineman at the Capitol building.
